Free Food For Millionaires

Casey Han is the eldest daughter of Korean parents who emigrated to America to seek a better life for their children. Her parents work endless hours to ensure their daughters received a college education.
Casey's years at Princeton have separated her from her family both mentally and physically. She struggles between the culture to which her family so fiercely cling and the life she aspires to, Casey must confront her own identity, the meaning of wealth, and what she really wants from her future. She can no longer fit into the role of a "good" Korean wife, mother, daughter. However she also feels inadequate in her life outside the Korean community. As if she is never quite good enough.

I enjoyed this book, however I would have preferred if the novel focused a little bit more on the other characters in the book, and a little less on Casey's mental angst.

This is a good read with tantalising  glimpses in to the world of Korean America.
