Mad dogs by Robert Muchamore

This is the 8th book in the CHERUB series, and finds 15 year old veteran-spy James Adams returning to the location of an earlier novel, “Class A”. James’s mission starts after one of the other CHERUB agents is stabbed while undercover. James is assigned to infiltrate a Luton based gang, the Mad Dogs of the title. His friend Bruce accompanies him, and their objective is to obtain the information the police need to prevent an all out gang war. Meanwhile back at the CHERUB campus, James’s sister Lauren and a soon-to-be-retired agent, Kyle conspire to exact revenge on the bullying instructor, Mr. Large. The book is action packed, violent, gritty, and realistic, and only suitable for readers over the age of 13.
