The staff had been scattered in various other library branches for the last three months and were all delighted to be back in their home branch.
The interior of the library has been completely revamped with a new garden area, complete with hanging baskets and picnic benches, leading from the Junior Library. It's a beautiful area to relax in with your books.
Other enhancements include the replacement and upgrading of the mezzanine stairway, improvement of lighting and ventilation systems and the installation of an accessible public toilet. Two new self-service kiosks have also been introduced, providing our customers with a more efficient service.
