Ulysses: Tuesday, 18th June

Ulysses is widely considered to be the greatest novel of the 20th century. It's also one that very very few people have ever read! On Tuesday 18th June in Cabinteely Library - 2 days after Bloomsday - the library's James Joyce Reading Group will be discussing why people should read a book with such a fearsome reputation! The simple answer is: because it's very funny

Brendan of the library staff will also be guiding you on how to set about reading the book... once you know where and when you are in the book, you're ready to go - the rest (how each chapter is written relates to that chapter's action, the Homeric references etc.) just adds to the enjoyment of this great comic novel.

So please feel free to join us at 6.30 PM in Cabinteely - and don't forget to look out for Bloomsday events all over Dublin and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown!
