Battlestar Galactica
A gritty reworking of the 1970's sci-fi TV series. Once again - much much better than a one line plot summary suggets.

Paranormal drama that imagines a world where vampires suddenly confirm their existence to an understandably surprised world. The action is centred on a small town waitress Sookie Stackhouse, who considers her telepathic abilites a curse.
