BLACKROCK LIBRARY: OFFICIAL REOPENING Blackrock Library's official reopening will take place next Tuesday 8th July at 6.30pm. An Cathaoirleach Councillor Marie Baker will do the honours and we will have music by Newpark Jazz String Trio. Come and see the beautifully updated and modernised library on the site of the Town Hall complex, which also accommodates the Blackrock Further Education Institute (BFEI). The library now contains a mezzanine area, extended public internet service, self-service facilities, study areas and a separate reading room - ideal for book clubs, browsing magazines and relaxing. Architects McCullough Mulvin carried out the redesign and refurbishment. Since we opened on June 16th, Blackrock Library has been super busy.
